Support in preventing terrorism by scrutinising national and regional intelligence.
As an Intelligence Researcher working within Counter Terrorism Policing- East Midlands (CTP-EM), you will complete research products against CPT missions such as Counter Terrorism, Counter State Threat and War Crimes.
The role is temporary for 12 months. For internal candidates, the role may be considered as a secondment. However, you must have approval from your head of department prior to applying.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintain databases to support analytical, intelligence and operations works.
- Explain your research to non-technical audiences.
- Be proactive in identifying sources of information and intelligence.
The must haves
- Experience of data collection and research skills.
- Effective communication skills, making recommendations to colleagues.
- A full UK drivers license and willingness to travel regionally and nationally.
