As our IT Security Engineer, you will ensure the force’s IT infrastructure is secure, conduct testing to provide information on potential vulnerabilities and resolve the root cause of incidents.
What you’ll be doing
- Monitor a security asset register and create reports to aid decision-making and asset management.
- Manage the safety and monitoring of force networks.
- Design IT security components using agreed approaches.
The must haves
- Experience investigating security incidents and monitoring internal/external escalation.
- Previous work implementing security components and advancing security optimisations.
- Skilled documenting systems and resolving problems using appropriate techniques.
