Help with the delivery of key services to the Force and external parties.
The Information Management department are looking to recruit a part time (35 hours) permanent Senior Disclosure Assistant. In addition to the part time vacancy, we often recruit into Senior Disclosure Assistant roles, so are looking for keen applicants with an interest in both full and part time roles for the future, whose applications we can keep on file.
Working as part of a team, you will provide support to the section, primarily in respect of services for the disclosure of information to external parties.
What you’ll be doing
- Process and advise on requests for the disclosure of police information from external parties in accordance with relevant legal obligations, Home Office and National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) policy.
- Collate and analyse all information and evidence to make recommendations for disclosure, consulting information managers, officers in the case and other third parties.
- Provide administrative support in accordance with the policies and procedures of the section, receive training and assist with other areas of the section as required.
The must haves
- Experience of analysing, preparing, and presenting information to a high standard.
- Previous experience of problem solving and resolution of complaints.
- Experience of providing specialist advice and guidance to customers.

The Information Management Department contains a number of business units, and the section operates a flexible working regime to meet the changing demands of the business. Therefore, the post holder will be allocated to duties in any of the business units as required.
For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
