Come join us and be part of our success.</span></span></span><span class=\"EOP SCXW93692766 BCX8\"> </span></p>\n<p>Are you an experienced Children’s Social Care manager?  Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children and their families?  Can you bring about change in a collaborative way?  If so, you may be the perfect candidate for this role.  </p>\n<p>An exciting opportunity has been created to lead the development of the Prevention and Intervention Services which includes staff members from across the council working in different specialisms (i.e domestic abuse, harmful sexual behaviour, therapeutic services, parenting, family support, child exploitation and missing). These services provide the specialist interventions required for Child Protection and Family Help and Children in Care and Experienced Care.   </p>\n<p>You will be directly responsible for the line management of seniors/managers of a range of Prevention and Intervention Services and will lead the implementation of the local child exploitation and missing strategic agenda including being the safeguarding chair of the Multi-Agency Child Exploitation (MACE). </p>\n<p>You will work with colleagues from across the partnership to ensure our safeguarding intervention response to various forms of harm is delivered to a high standard.  </p>\n<p>Previous experience of working within specialist therapeutic services and working in multi-agency teams, managing projects or people, including partnerships and using data intelligently to improve the way things are done will be an advantage. </p>\n<p>At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working.  For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part-time.</p>\n<p>We promote applications from all sections of the community, regardless of background, belief, or identity, recognising the value that diversity brings to our organisation.
