Areas of work include; environmental permitting, contaminated land, air quality, incident management, business continuity management, responding to licensing and planning applications and the preparation of emergency plans.For the role, we ask that you have: <ul>\n<li>Qualification as an Environmental Health Officer and registered with the Environmental Health Officers Registration Board.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of the work undertaken by the Emergency Planning and Resilience Team or required to acquire following appointment</li>\n<li>The ability to direct and bring projects plans and work programmes to a successful conclusion, within a prescribed budget and/or timescale.</li>\n<li>A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the county borough and transport relevant equipment. \n</li>\n</ul>We have excellent benefits including the Local Government Pension Scheme and staff discount schemes.
