About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst to complement an established team of highly skilled Analysts who are all committed to providing high quality services across Microsoft 365 capabilities, databases, business process automation and telephony.
The role will report to the Platform Engineering’s Service Manager within IT & Digital providing a supportive environment where self-development is encouraged, and you will be responsible for the technical development of staff to ensure the Council provides a capable and responsive high-quality service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and support of our telephony technology. This role requires a deep understanding of telephony technologies, excellent customer engagement skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
As part of Orbis, a shared services partnership between Brighton and Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council, and Surrey County Council, you’ll also have exposure and opportunities beyond the immediate Council, should you wish.

Additional information
Remote working with occasional attendance in the office – There is the option for the suitable candidate to choose to work mostly from home. Attendance at the office with reasonable notice would be required on occasion. This notice would be subject to local team and service working arrangements. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
