St Michael’s Easthampstead CE VA Primary School is a friendly school with a caring Christian ethos where all staff are committed to ensuring every child achieves to the best of their ability. We have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to start work in our lovely school with with flexibility around year groups (KS1/KS2).

Deliver high quality support and interventions for both groups and individuals
Develop positive relationships with students, parents and staff
Have an ability to work using their own initiative
Have a high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
Adapt to changing situations and learn new skills
Be resilient and have good behaviour management
Be a team player and work closely with other staff members within the school
Have experience of working with children ideally those with SEN
Have knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
Able to deliver prepared lessons to cover staff absence

Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm but with some flexibility for the right candidate. This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2027.
