A bit about the role...
The Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS) provides financial support to enable the remediation of buildings with cladding systems which present an unacceptable life-safety risk.
We aim to improve the lives of eligible, affected leaseholders and residents by making funds available to undertake qualifying works to reduce risks and concern around safety and to restore confidence in the market.
Working in a team with the Senior Manager of Stakeholder and Engagement, Laura Smith, and Stakeholder Managers in supporting the Head of Product and Stakeholder Engagement.
Job description
You will be joining our small but friendly, highly skilled and highly experienced team of 4 people, who are committed to making positive change in how we build a productive and effective working relationship with our stakeholders to ensure the effective running of the programme.
Laura Smith is dedicated to delivering a first-class customer service, resolving problems informally wherever possible, taking an innovative and creative approach to solving issues. Laura believes in working in a collaborative way and value’s everybody’s perspective to foster good decision making and problem solving within her team.

Person specification
Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders in the Cladding Safety Scheme, you will be used to managing competing priorities and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.
You'll be comfortable supporting both the Senior Manager and Managers in the team to grapple with complex stakeholder issues to build a productive and effective working relationship with our stakeholders. You will be proficient in delivering excellent service, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of the programme ensuring that we are working effectively with our internal and external stakeholders to improve the applicant and resident experience.
Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as the Cladding Safety team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
