Abbeyford Children's Home require a Cook to work 10 hours per week. The role requires a person with the skills to buy the ingredients to prepare and cook a varied menu of healthy and nutritious meals for children and young people who have learning disabilities and associated health needs. All food will need to be freshly prepared each day and the successful candidate will need to be able to prepare a wide variety of foods catering for different dietary requirements.
This role will be worked over two days a week and will involve working every other weekend.
The role also requires the cook to maintain the kitchen and meet all regulatory standards.

Our Catering Service provides more than 7,000 meals a day to primary schools across the borough, with high quality nutritious menus. With bespoke and exciting menus our teams are dedicated to providing high quality meals to young persons across the borough, and we are uniquely positioned to be able to give schools and pupils a high level of service providing in person expertise with our locally based, qualified Kitchen teams.
Our Skilled Primary School Cooks all have an incredibly important role leading the day-to-day management of the school kitchen, systems and kitchen team, planning preparing, cooking and serving meals to the highest possible standard. Good communication skills ensure our employees work together well, and interact with staff members promoting excellent relationships with Head teachers, staff and pupils enabling our workforce to deliver and meet the needs of the service.

Applications are invited for cleaning and catering staff to work in various Schools and Public buildings to cover staff holidays and absence.&nbsp; We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work both individually and as part of a team. You will be available to work as and when required.&nbsp; &nbsp;Duties will include but are not limited to:&nbsp;&nbsp;
