As part of the Museum team, you will also be trained to deliver holiday activities for families, our weekly Rhymetime and object handling sessions as well as delivering our weekly tour of our Victorian Bayeux Tapestry and introductory talks around the Museum. From time to time, you will also help with administrative tasks, including evaluating the views of our visitors and maintaining the presentation of the galleries. When you cover reception desk you will act as the first point of contact for our visitors and clients, co-ordinating deliveries, selling Box Office tickets and Museum shop merchandise, operating tills, taking donations, keeping the shop tidy, and dealing with telephone bookings and enquiries. This role requires a keen eye for items that can make more online than in the shop. In this role you will be one of the store’s friendly faces who will help us to provide the best customer experience whilst playing an important role in raising funds for our charity work.
