Junior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a newly qualified dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and supportive Therapy Reablement Service. If you are looking for a role that enables you to make a real difference to people’s lives, please apply.

About you…

• Qualified Occupational Therapist
• Health and Care Professions Council registration
• Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Awareness and understanding of safeguarding principles and the Care Act 2014

About the role…

• You will be working within our 7-Day Therapy led Reablement Team which includes health partners and our in-house home care provider.
• Using a strength-based approach you will undertake holistic assessments by working with individuals to develop personalized goals and Reablement plans aimed at maintaining and maximizing their independence.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants providing support and guidance and well as offering profession specific guidance to Social Work colleagues.

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.
