Teaching Assistant – Grade 4 (casual contract)

8.50am start until 3.50pm

Available 38 weeks term time only

Salary Range - £24,404 to £25,183 (FTE), £12.65 to £13.05 per hour

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Casual Teaching Assistant to provide cover as and when necessary, throughout the school. This is a flexible role, as you are able to choose the days you are available to work on a weekly basis.

The post holder will be expected to have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification and preferably have experience of working with pupils with complex needs.

This post would be suitable for an individual who is keen to gain experience in working with children with Special Educational Needs and is interested in developing their skills and knowledge with the support of an experienced school team.
