This will be a TA pastoral role which will include supporting specific children with SEND.</p>\n<p>We are seeking somebody with a TA2 qualification or the willingness to undertake this. We would also welcome applications from unqualified teachers or ECT's seeking more experience within a teaching environment.</p>\n<p>The candidate will be an excellent practitioner with a proven record in helping to promote excellent learning and outcomes for children. The majority of your work will be class-based, supporting classes, groups and individual pupils with SEND. In addition, some of your role will be made up of lunchtime provision support, our extracurricular offer and pastoral work. Teaching opportunities and additional training will be available for the right candidate.</p>\n<p>The successful applicant must have the following qualities:</p>\n<p>A deep understanding of and passion for high-quality education.<br>A commitment to inclusion and SEND support that enables children to learn well and thrive as learners.<br>Knowledge of how to support children with SEND.<br>A commitment to professional learning and development (All TAs have at least 50 hours of CPD a year as part of their directed time).<br>Experience of supporting high-quality classroom teaching, including phonics and mastery-based mathematics.<br>Understanding of how to promote high-quality oracy and language.<br>Ability to develop good relationships with children, colleagues and parents.<br>Understanding of how to apply positive behaviour management approaches.<br>Ability to work constructively as part of a team.<br>Willingness to show initiative and apply common sense.<br>Experience of supporting assessment and planning for next steps in a child's learning.</p>\n<p>We will offer, in return:</p>\n<p>Enquiring children, with a thirst for learning.<br>A committed and dedicated staff and governing body.<br>A commitment to your professional development.
