We are looking for an experienced Children's Social Care Analyst to join our Intelligence and Improvement Team. You will support our Windsor and Maidenhead services, primarily based in our Maidenhead office with flexible working options. Occasional travel to other locations may be required.
The successful candidate will have experience in children’s social care data extraction, analysis, and presentation, and will be well-versed in completing statutory returns. Proficiency in using Liquid Logic, Business Objects, and Looker Studio is highly advantageous. You will need strong numeracy skills, be highly organized, and able to work effectively within a supportive team. A self-motivated individual with a drive to improve processes is desired.
The Intelligence Analyst will ensure the business has the necessary information to meet organizational objectives and achieve continual improvement. You will collaborate with the Team Leader to develop systems and enhance the timeliness, quality, and use of data to drive service improvement.
About the role
The Intelligence Analyst will support the delivery of information and intelligence about service performance and effectiveness through the collection, validation, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of data and other qualitative information. The post-holder will provide support to service managers to establish and maintain performance management systems that meet national and local requirements, and will be responsible for statutory performance reporting and compliance reporting to the commissioning Councils. The post-holder will also support the organisation’s commissioning programme and strategic initiatives, by supporting the delivery of performance information to inform strategic and local needs assessments.
Key areas of focus for this role will include the reporting and interpretation of complex data as required by the organisation and supporting the development of processes that facilitate data quality and timely reporting. The post holder will contribute to the completion and quality assurance of statutory returns by the required deadlines. The post holder may be required to attend key meetings from time to time to present data and associated analysis. They will have responsibility for the production of data and analysis for a primary area of expertise as required. The post holder will work with front line services to help develop intelligence reports that are useful and impactful in identifying improvements for the children and their families they work with.

About you
- Social care experience and knowledge of statutory frameworks
- Social care and/or education management system proficiency (Liquid Logic preferred)
- Experience building reports to extract data (e.g., Business Objects, SQL, Crystal Reporting)
- Strong relationship-building skills for collaborative reporting
- Data visualization skills (e.g., Business Objects, Power BI, Looker Studio, Power Query, Python)
- Experience presenting complex data to diverse audiences
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Desire to develop technical data skills
- Numeracy and accuracy
