<h4>Job summary</h4>The National Archives' Collection Care Department has a strong and growing reputation for its outstanding expertise in caring of archival collections. Our collection is one of the largest and most important archival collections in the world, with more than 220 shelf kilometres of paper, parchment, photographs, textiles and other materials. The long-term preservation of our collection provides unique challenges, as we are balancing the needs of the materials against demands for access and sustainability. We are looking for a highly motivated, very experienced, well respected, and creative expert to build on the success of recent years and to further develop The National Archives' preservation and operations agenda. You will leverage the existing expertise within the department, drive innovation and bring new perspectives to approaching the long-term preservation of our entire collection. Working in tandem with our Heritage Science Conservation Research, Conservation for Imaging, Conservation and Treatment Development, and Engagement teams, as well as relevant departments across the organisation, you will constantly benchmark our preservation practice against national and international standards and best practice. You will use your deep understanding of value and risk assessment, material deterioration, and data modelling to inform our approach to managing our repositories and access to our collection. You will work closely with peers around the world to find ever new and innovative solutions to our complex preservation challenges and you will expand our professional network to the benefit of the team's professional development and that of our collection. About the role
The Industry Skills Tutor will manage a caseload of apprentices by monitoring attendance, progression, achievement and completion, organising pastoral support as required and by working with all parties involved to resolve any issues that may affect successful completion of the programmes. We are looking for a candidate with experience within Electrical industry. The Industry Skills Tutor will coordinate achievement of all aspects of apprenticeship standards or frameworks, to include quality assurance where appropriate, ensuring learners achieve on time, and in-line with college targets. The successful applicants will develop individual action plans including the setting of smart targets tailored to meet apprentices’ needs while maintaining accurate records in line with the College requirements.
The Industry Skills Tutor will;

<li>Hold a relevant vocational qualification at or above level 3 and hold an Assessor award and IQA award</li>
<li>Have relevant up-to-date industrial/subject knowledge and a knowledge of the Building Services industry and employment opportunities</li>
<li>Have a knowledge of Ofsted and apprenticeship and AEB funding</li>
<li>Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written</li>
<li>Have excellent organisational and administrative skills and be able to manage and organise priorities, working as part of a team to ensure quality of provision and timely and overall successful outcomes.</li>
<li>Commitment to and enthusiasm for delivering an excellent customer service demonstrating problem-solving attributes for apprentices, employers and other key stakeholders</li>

The Career Cluster of Health, Wellbeing &amp; Care has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer within Health and Social Care. The role will involve tutoring and course management of a Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programme as well as teaching across all programmes.&nbsp;
The successful applicant will coordinate the effective delivery of the Social Care study programmes across various levels providing academic leadership for students, creating a curriculum that is engaging, relevant and coherent and in line with local and national priorities. As a Lecturer in Social Care, you will develop and maintain up to date industry knowledge, bringing in industry professionals, where possible, that are relevant to the curriculum and the employability and skills needs of students. You will support and motivate learners to meet their individual aspiration and goals and will coordinate the tracking of learners’ achievements. In your role you will lead study programmes to attain outstanding achievement and student retention and progression.&nbsp;
You will have sound organisational skills, your ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team is also essential. &nbsp;
Applicants that have current teaching experience should also be familiar with the current CACHE curriculum and we encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory.&nbsp;

About you
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Lecturers in Science, who can teach any or all disciplines (Biology and Chemistry), in order to contribute to the teaching and development of these subjects within our School of Science.&nbsp; You must be able to teach on AS/A2, BTEC and Higher Education courses. Experience of Access Courses would be an advantage. It is essential that you are experienced in tutoring, assessing, recording and tracking students on different courses.
The successful candidate should have a degree (or equivalent) in a related area. You should also be familiar with the current BTEC and A level curriculum and we encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory
