Here at NKC, we are passionate about making our leaners work-ready and as the Technician with the department, you will play an active role in supporting this drive. Working alongside our experienced Lecturers, you will help the students navigate real-world scenarios whilst utilising our facilities at the College, building their confidence for future success.
Our Technicians work with the team to provide technical support for the delivery of the Construction Crafts courses and actively participate in enhancing the student experience. In addition to helping shape and motivate our learners throughout their course, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing learning materials in readiness for practical sessions as well as maintain the equipment and assisting with demonstrations where required. This role would suit a candidate with experience form any of the construction and finishing trades, and whilst not essential, it would be advantageous for this role to have experience with forklifts and working with woodworking machines. Full training will be provided.

The Swim Co-ordinator role focuses on co-ordinating a high quality i-Swim programme, and ensuring delivery of a professional, welcoming and inclusive swim lesson environment at all our sites.&nbsp; Swim Co-ordinators provide day to day supervision of the Swim Instructors, and act as a facilitator and advocate to help raise the profile, importance and benefits of learning to swim.&nbsp;

About You&nbsp;
The Career Cluster of Health, Wellbeing &amp; Care has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer within Health and Social Care. The role will involve tutoring and course management of a Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programme as well as teaching across all programmes.&nbsp;
The successful applicant will coordinate the effective delivery of the Social Care study programmes across various levels providing academic leadership for students, creating a curriculum that is engaging, relevant and coherent and in line with local and national priorities. As a Lecturer in Social Care, you will develop and maintain up to date industry knowledge, bringing in industry professionals, where possible, that are relevant to the curriculum and the employability and skills needs of students. You will support and motivate learners to meet their individual aspiration and goals and will coordinate the tracking of learners’ achievements. In your role you will lead study programmes to attain outstanding achievement and student retention and progression.&nbsp;
You will have sound organisational skills, your ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team is also essential. &nbsp;
Applicants that have current teaching experience should also be familiar with the current CACHE curriculum and we encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory.&nbsp;
UCG also welcome candidates with industry experience, and you will have the opportunity to work towards a teaching qualification. The role will require you to work towards a recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or be willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment. &nbsp;

About the role&nbsp;
An experienced Aesthetics Lecturer position is available in our team. The chosen candidate will be passionate and be able to raise achievement through motivating, challenging, and inspiring our students.&nbsp;
You will have the knowledge and experience to deliver highly effective teaching, learning, and assessment, assisting students in reaching their full potential and making positive progress towards timely achievement, future study, and employment.&nbsp;
Your responsibility will be to educate students at various levels and courses, up to Level 4. You will be responsible for lesson planning and preparation, assessment, exam preparation, and providing continuous support to students to develop their knowledge and skills.&nbsp;
You will have expert understanding of the curriculum area, which may be supplemented by relevant industry or professional experience, as well as a formal certificate that supports this knowledge. Essentially, you must have experience and knowledge of working with all hair types.&nbsp;
