We are now recruiting for an Administration Officer to run a busy transport office linked to the council’s in house vehicle workshops at the Brunel Drive depot in Newark.

Main duties will also include control of the transport section software packages.
The workshops is a fast paced environment and we are looking for someone with enthusiasm and drive that can bring fresh thinking to the role. You will be customer focused, highly organised with a keen eye for detail. Ideally you will have some experience in a transport or similar industry. You will report directly to the Workshop Team Leader as well as providing information and assistance to the Business Manager and Operators Licence holder.

From roadshows to an annual award ceremony, from reviewing working arrangements to our Hug in a Mug initiative, it is incredibly important our employees are shown how valued they are and that they remain the beating heart of our workplace.
We offer:
- Enrolment in the career average local government pension scheme.
- A generous annual leave entitlement that increases with service.
