The Whole Life Commissioning Team play a central role for the Council through the effective commissioning of services to support the delivery of Adult Social Care, Children’s Services, and Public Health. This includes the management and development of market capacity whilst ensuring the sustainability of good quality services for the population of Knowsley.
There is a Commissioning Manager vacancy in the Long Term Support division of the Whole Life Commissioning Team. This team commissions a range of services such as domiciliary care, care homes and extra care services. The team also commission independent living services (such as occupational therapy, sensory services and the Disabled Facilities Grants programme) as well as services to support people at risk of homelessness. The team are looking for a suitably experienced person to join them as they work together to help people in Knowsley live well for longer.
