    Apprenticeship Team Administrator (Apprentice)

Salary: £24,546 per annum (National Living Wage)

Location: Hybrid - Lift Greensward Academy or Lift Hockley School, Essex, and home-based

Hours: 35 hours per week, Full Time (52 weeks)

Contract: Permanent with a fully funded apprenticeship

    Start Date: September 2026

Start your career while helping others achieve theirs

Looking for an opportunity where you can earn, learn and make a genuine difference?

Join Lift Schools as our Apprenticeship Team Administrator (Apprentice) and become part of the team that supports apprentices across our Trust to develop their careers and achieve nationally recognised qualifications.

This is far more than a traditional administration role. You'll become the first point of contact for apprentices, employers and trainers, helping coordinate enrolments, assessments, compliance and learner support while gaining invaluable experience in business administration.

Alongside your role, you'll complete a fully funded Level 2 Administration Assistant or Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship, giving you the skills, knowledge and qualification to build a successful career.

Whether you're leaving school, looking for your first office role or considering a career change, this is an exciting opportunity to develop within one of the country's leading education trusts.

    Why this role matters

Every successful apprenticeship relies on excellent organisation behind the scenes.

As our Apprenticeship Team Administrator Apprentice, you'll help ensure every learner receives a professional, supportive and compliant experience from their first enquiry through to completing their End Point Assessment.

Your work will directly support apprentices in developing their careers while helping Lift Schools continue to deliver outstanding apprenticeship programmes.

    What you'll be doing

You'll work alongside experienced colleagues who will support your development while giving you real responsibility from day one.

    You'll:

    • Support the day-to-day administration of the Apprenticeship Team and manage learner enquiries via phone and email.
    • Guide prospective apprentices and employers through the enrolment process, providing excellent customer service and advice.
    • Process and maintain learner records, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete and compliant.
    • Coordinate Functional Skills exams and End Point Assessment administration, including reasonable adjustments where required.
    • Maintain apprenticeship data across internal systems and Management Information Systems (MIS).
    • Work closely with compliance, delivery and MIS teams to ensure learners receive a seamless experience.
    • Help identify and resolve administrative or compliance issues before they become problems.

    We're looking for someone who:

    • Has GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent).
    • Is organised, reliable and enjoys working with accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Enjoys working with people and building positive relationships.
    • Is confident using computers and digital systems or is keen to develop these skills.
    • Is motivated to complete a Level 2 or Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship alongside their role.
    • Is enthusiastic, eager to learn and excited to build a long-term career.

Previous administrative experience isn't essential, we'll provide training, support and mentoring throughout your apprenticeship.

    Who is Lift Schools?

We're a diverse and inclusive network of schools with one clear mission; to provide an excellent education to every child - in every classroom, every day. And we do this across each of our 59 schools. As with our students, we want our team to be empowered to do their best work, supported by the best leadership they've ever had.

We acknowledge and appreciate the exceptional efforts of everyone here in making this an incredible organisation.

    We offer you:

    • Comprehensive training: Access a wide range of developmental training to boost your career.
    • Generous benefits: From your pension plan to healthcare and financial support, we've got you covered.
    • Lifestyle perks: Enjoy discounted gym memberships and travel deals.

    Closing Date: 27th July 2026

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive an overwhelming response. All candidates are advised to refer to the job description and person specification before making an application.
