We are looking for a Senior Customer Repairs Officer to join our Customer Repairs Team supporting all our building maintenance teams. This will include supervising the repairs support team as appropriate to ensure the repairs support team have capacity by allocating phone and admin tasks to effectively manage all demands received accurately and efficiently. You will be part of a team that manage repairs demand, raise repairs, arrange servicing, coordinate surveying appointments and undertake customer satisfaction surveys. We maintain a varied housing stock including a diverse range of corporate, operational, commercial and community assets. Skills: Your application needs to demonstrate that you: 1. We are seeking a Retrofit/Net Zero Surveyor to join our Housing Assets department who are responsible for delivering high quality and cost-effective planned works, repairs, compliance and decarbonisation improvements to our housing stock.

As a Retrofit/Net Zero Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering quality surveying, taking a key role in achieving the Council’s Net Zero Carbon targets, including all matters concerning resident engagement and liaison, project planning, specification, design, procurement, contractor management and regulatory requirements within the Retrofit/Net Zero Team on the Councils Housing stock.
You will undertake surveys and produce reports, relating to the required carbon reduction measures for dwellings, that will contribute to budgetary decisions and future programming. In addition, you will be required to assess and ascertain the age and lifetime of key building components (e.g. roof, windows, kitchens and bathrooms) and assess the property condition, safety and energy performance.
About You
A Surveying or Built Environment qualification is essential for this role, including knowledge and experience of construction methods and defects, undertaking buildings inspections and the ability to produce reports to inform our asset database and capital programme.
Experience of managing and evaluating delivery designs, coordination and installations of complaint energy efficiency measures is also essential as well as, knowledge of funding schemes such as Heat Network Efficiency Scheme, Energy Company Obligation &amp; Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme.
A qualification and experience as a Domestic Energy Assessor or a Level 3 Retrofit Advisor qualification would be an advantage.

As Shield team’s practice has developed in relation to exploitation, we are seeing harmful sexual behaviour at times intertwine with the sexual and criminal exploitation cohorts.&nbsp;&nbsp; The remit of the team is therefore being expanded to offer specialist harmful sexual behaviour interventions.&nbsp;
You should have a good understanding of child development, safeguarding, and the challenges families face when dealing with exploitation and harmful sexual behaviour and other external harms. Strong communication, planning, and partnership working skills are essential, as is the ability to build trusted relationships with parents and carers.
The primary focus will be working with children and delivering parenting support to families facing multiple and complex challenges mainly harmful sexual behaviours and/or exploitation. This is a key role in delivering targeted, coordinated interventions to parents, carers, and families with children and young people aged 0–25.
The targeted interventions will help parents and carers develop the skills and confidence they need to support their children’s wellbeing and development. You will deliver hands-on children and parenting support and therapeutic interventions using a relationship-based approach, aiming to improve outcomes for the whole family. You will also support parents in managing challenging behaviour and preventing escalation, helping them respond confidently and constructively to complex situations at home.
You will also undertake holistic child harmful sexual (AIM) and exploitation assessments and lead on the development and delivery of outcome-focused family plans. You will work closely with families, professionals, and partner agencies to reduce harms associated with harmful sexual behaviour and exploitation and anti-social behaviour. In this role, you will be expected to contribute to safeguarding processes and risk management and take the lead in coordinating support, ensuring services are responsive and effective.
A key aspect of the role is working in partnership with the police and other agencies to identify and respond to threats and risks in the community. This includes supporting intelligence gathering, mapping activity, and attending multi-agency forums to ensure timely action and joined-up working.&nbsp;
As part of the Advanced social worker role you will assist and deputise in the absence of the Team Manager and provide high quality professional supervision, reflective supervision, appraisal, and support to others as appropriate identify and develop potential within other staff.
