There may be additional vacancies available within other departments in due course and wherever possible we will look to accommodate requests in order of preference considering this alongside operational needs.</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Child Investigation Team </strong>(Based at Chesterfield and Derby)</li><li><strong>Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Unit </strong>(Based at Chesterfield and Derby)</li><li><strong>High Risk Domestic Abuse </strong>(Based at Chesterfield and Derby)</li><li><strong>Criminal Investigation Dept </strong>(Based at Chesterfield and Derby)</li><li><strong>Major Crime Unit (MCU) </strong>(Based at Derby)</li><li><strong>Economic Crime Unit </strong>(Derby, Chesterfield, or HQ (Ripley)</li></ul><p>If you are high performing and looking for a new challenge, then this could be the place for you.</p><p>In return, as a detective officer transferring from a Home Office Police Force, you will retain:</p><ul><li>Your previous service and current levels of pay (excluding force specific benefits i.e. London weighting).</li><li>Annual leave entitlement, as long as there is no break in service.</li><li>Your current pension arrangements.</li></ul><p>We are also able to offer the 'Recommend Derbyshire' scheme for this vacancy, the details of which are attached.</p><p><strong>The must haves</strong></p><ul><li>Substantive in the rank of constable.</li><li>Be a member of a Home Office force or Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) or Police Scotland (please note we cannot accept an application to transfer from an officer serving with a non-Home Office police force).</li><li>Evidence of completion of ICIDP and competency at PIP level 2.</li><li>Experience of working in a PIP level 2 environment.</li><li>Have a full manual driving licence.</li><li>Prepared to use own vehicle and undertake assessment to drive Derbyshire police vehicles.</li><li>Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues.</li><li>Have an in date job related fitness test (JRFT) and Public and Personal Safety Training (PPST).</li></ul><p><strong>What’s in it for you?</strong></p><p>At Derbyshire Constabulary, we aim to create an environment that puts people first.
