We are seeking a Psychotherapists or Counsellor to join the HealthyWay Plus team. You will be required to contribute and deliver an evidence-based weight management programme to improve health and wellbeing in Medway by supporting the achievement of local and national strategies relating to Public Health. Due to the nature of the role, it is important that the post holder remains open to new ideas and perspectives that align to Public Health KPIs and key messages. The post holder must have a minimum of one year’s experience in psychotherapeutic work in a weight management setting ideally including groups. They should stay up to date with developments in psychological and group therapy for obesity treatment. The successful candidate is required to abide by the Ethical Framework for Good Practise in Counselling and Psychotherapy (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) or equivalent in addition to having own professional indemnity insurance.Additionally, the role will include administrative support relating to the courses the post holder runs.
