£39,959 - £48,117 per year
Role Introduction

Leeds Community Healthcare is recruiting Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapists to join the Active Recovery Service or Neighbourhood Therapy Teams. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will support adults following illness, injury, hospital admission or functional decline. You will complete assessments, develop personalised rehabilitation plans and deliver evidence-based interventions to promote recovery, independence and quality of life.

The Active Recovery Service is a partnership with Leeds City Council, providing integrated intermediate care. It delivers short-term, goal-focused rehabilitation for people recovering from trauma, surgery, neurological conditions, frailty and long-term conditions, using a strengths-based approach to reduce ongoing care needs.

Neighbourhood Therapy Teams provide community-based rehabilitation across Leeds, supporting planned and urgent care. Therapists work with individuals experiencing falls, mobility issues and complex needs, helping prevent hospital admission and support recovery at home.

  • You will manage a varied caseload, deliver rehabilitation, support discharge and work with multidisciplinary teams. The role also includes supervision, service development and ongoing professional development.
