<p>We are looking for a fully qualified Environmental Health Practitioner to join our small dynamic team. Enforcing food hygiene and health and safety legislation in a wide range of premises, you will be required to carry out statutory inspections, and targeted interventions employing the full range of enforcement tools where necessary. In addition, you will investigate complaints and workplace accidents and conduct outbreak investigations. Offering advice and support to businesses is equally important.</p>
<p>You must be a keen, self-motivated person who can work well as part of a busy team. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and use your initiative to carry out your duties effectively. You will be appropriately qualified with a Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health and be registered with the Environmental Health Officer’s Registration Board, or the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. Your current competencies will include being able to carry out the full range of food hygiene interventions in line with the FSA’s code of Practice.</p>

<p>We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Centres Manager to lead a professional team, to manage the facilities and provide tailored business growth support for its businesses whilst attracting and generating new business.&nbsp; The postholder will ensure a professional, practical and comprehensive support service is provided to clients at both HIC and HEC.</p>
<p>With previous experience in a similar role, the successful candidate will hold a relevant HND / degree (e.g. Business, Management, Finance, Law) or be able to demonstrate equivalent aptitude.&nbsp; You will have experience of generating income and supporting clients in a business-to-business environment and managing a team and a large budget.&nbsp; You will be professional, proactive and conscientious and have excellent sales, customer service, leadership and communication skills to ensure good working relationships are formed and be a competent user in MS Office including, Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.</p>
<p>The role will involve taking ownership for collating and analysing data in order to produce reports and recommendations to the Corporate and Senior Management Team.</p>

If you are re-joining at a different rank or you left your previous force more than 1 year ago, you will be required to undertake a 12-month probationary period.</li><li>Re-joiners at the same rank will re-enter the service on the pay scale point at which they left their previous force. Officers re-joining at a higher or lower rank will have their pay considered on a case-by-case basis.</li><li>Have a full manual driving licence.</li><li>Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues</li><li>To have attained or be in the process of attaining a PIP 2 qualification (PIP 2 or above)</li><li>Be confirmed in rank.
