5 Libraries Flexible Jobs

Do you enjoy bringing people together and being part of your local community? Wirral Libraries is looking for volunteers to help us create welcoming, engaging and memorable experiences for residents through a wide range of events and activities held across our library network.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved behind the scenes and on the day of events, helping to create spaces where people can connect, learn, be inspired and have fun. Whether supporting a family activity, community event, author talk or seasonal celebration, you'll play an important role in helping our libraries remain vibrant community hubs.

As a volunteer, you'll work alongside our friendly library teams, helping visitors feel welcome, encouraging participation and supporting the smooth running of activities. You'll also have the chance to promote events, gather feedback and help shape future programmes, ensuring our libraries continue to offer activities that people want to attend and enjoy.

In return, you'll gain valuable experience, meet new people, develop your confidence and communication skills, and make a real difference to communities across Wirral. Full training and support will be provided, and there are flexible opportunities available throughout the week.
