About you, and your responsibilities:&nbsp;
You might have experience from a Local Authority background, from a school, college, or Early Years background, you might come from a Health Service or third sector background too. Certainly, you’ll have a good knowledge and experience of the SEN system, and you will have a demonstrable understanding of the SEN Code of Practice, and you’ll be aware of changes that might be coming in the SEN system, and what that might mean for councils, schools, and most of all children and young people.&nbsp;&nbsp;
For those wanting to join our PFA team, you’ll have an understanding of what it means to Prepare for Adulthood, and a working knowledge of the concept of post-16 and post-18 provision and placements.&nbsp;&nbsp;
You’ll be good at communicating, able to share the positive and the difficult messages which come with SEN, confident in the knowledge that your managers and local leaders will support you. You’ll do this with empathy, with kindness, but also with clearness and confidence.&nbsp;&nbsp;
You’ll be well organised and able to balance competing priorities day to day, and you’ll understand why good record keeping is important, and most importantly, do it. You’ll understand that SEN is not just the school or setting, not just the Council, not just the Health Service, but that we all have a part to play, when, how, and why.&nbsp;

In this role, you’ll investigate and manage noise and nuisance cases in the commercial sector, from initial complaint through to resolution and potential court proceedings. You’ll also prepare reports and respond to Members’ and public enquiries. The essential requirement for the Senior/Environmental Protection Officers roles are as follows;
Environmental Protection Officer&nbsp;(PO1 &amp; PO2)
PO1 - Requires experience in environmental noise and nuisance investigations, including enforcement, as well as consulting on Licensing applications.
PO2 - Requires experience in environmental noise and nuisance investigations and consulting on Planning, Licensing, and Prior Consent s.61 applications. An IOA Certificate of Competence in Environmental Noise Measurement is desirable.
Senior Environmental Protection Officer&nbsp;(PO3 &amp; PO4)
PO3 - Requires significant experience in environmental noise and nuisance investigations and enforcement. Must have the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.
About Us:
PO4 - Requires extensive experience and knowledge in environmental noise and nuisance investigations and enforcement. Must have an accredited academic qualification (e.g., MSc, BSc (Hons), or Diploma) in Environmental Health approved by the Environmental Health Registration Board, or an MSc in Environmental and Architectural Acoustics or equivalent, is essential.

About the role
In this role, your main responsibility will be to lead and manage the Infrastructure Delivery Team responsible for all CIL and Section 106 processes. This includes the administration and collection of CIL and Section 106 payments for the Borough; and the post-collection allocation and spending of funds, including the ongoing development of a Neighbourhood CIL spend process.
The postholder will lead on the development and implementation of processes for the collection of the forthcoming Building Safety Levy; and will be involved with the development of the new Bromley Local Plan, particularly with regard to evidence base development related to infrastructure.
The Team Leader post will have line management responsibility for two Infrastructure Delivery Officers and will report directly to the Head of Planning Policy and Strategy. The post holder will work closely with colleagues in the Planning Policy and Design &amp; Conservation teams which also sit within the Planning Policy and Strategy service; and will also work with other departments across the Council including Development Management, Finance, Housing and Regeneration.
The successful candidate will represent the Planning Policy and Strategy service at various internal and external meetings, including Council committee meetings; and will also be required to deputise for the Head of Planning Policy and Strategy in relation to infrastructure delivery matters, as and when required.

This is an MG6 grade role, with a salary range of £47,536 to £71,302. It is a full-time, permanent role, based on a 36-hour working week. The role is based at Bromley Civic Centre (opposite Bromley South station). Principal Network Management Engineer Salary: SMRA £60,702 - £73,698 We now have a vacancy for a Principal Network Management Engineer who reports to the Head of Network Management and is responsible for managing activities on the network; and for ensuring business continuity across the whole of the Highways, Parking and Transportation sectors.  We are looking for candidates who have extensive experience in an administrative role using a digital/online system and have experience of working with public agencies such as local authorities and NHS trusts. &nbsp;You must have excellent administrative and IT skills and be competent with digital systems. You may also be required to work independently at times although you will be well supported with full training. This role requires you to be an integral team member, be motivated and flexible. &nbsp;You will be able to communicate well in a variety of ways and build and maintain good quality, ongoing and one-off, relationships with professionals and their organisations who need to participate in the child death review process.
