<li>Undertake site visits, review photographic surveys, heritage statements and desk-based assessments to support both conservation and archaeological work.</li>
<li>Support the coordination of archaeological input into planning processes, including consultation responses, and interpretation of archaeological reports results, and advice for the general public.</li>
<li>Assist in the preparation of conservation area appraisals, local heritage lists, and heritage policy documents.</li>
<li>Contribute to public engagement, exhibitions, and heritage-led regeneration initiatives.</li>
</ul>About youThe successful candidate will have:<ul>
<li>A degree (or working towards one) in archaeology, heritage management, architectural history, or a related field.</li>
<li>Understanding of UK heritage and planning legislation, including the NPPF and relevant Acts.</li>
<li>Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.</li>
<li>A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits.</li>
</ul>Although not essential, you may also have:<ul>
<li>Experience in a local authority or planning consultancy.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Worcestershire’s archaeological and historic landscape.</li>
<li>Experience in archaeological fieldwork.</li>
<li>Skills in QGIS, ArcGIS, HER systems, or planning software (e.g. MasterGov, Idox, DEF).</li>
<li>Membership or eligibility for IHBC, CIfA, or a similar professional body. </li>
