The Finance Team are responsible for oversight of all Income and Expenditure within the Council supporting all departments to deliver value for money.
The Finance Business Partner will support designated teams within the Council, providing accurate and timely advice across a range of services to support with budgets, projects and procurement.
If you are AAT qualified /CCAB part qualified or qualified by experience, have relevant in a financial environment (ideally in a local government environment) and experience of analysing and interpreting data using Excel, we would love to hear from you. About the role
In this role you will lead the Refugee Resettlement service and work with a range of partner services to ensure the delivery of high-quality and effective refugee resettlement services, including advice, integration and support, to enable refugees to achieve required outcomes and live independently in the UK.
We are looking for a committed individual with strong organisation, communication and partnership working skills, experience of staff and service management, and experience of delivering refugee resettlement or related services.

Reporting to the Principal Officer - Investment, this is a key role in the successful management of the Housing Stock data of over 5700 properties.&nbsp; You will be responsible for the surveying, collation and management of the stock data as well as the analysis of the data to assist in the planning and implementation of the capital works programmes.
The role requires a detailed knowledge of building construction methods and materials backed up with a formal qualification, the ability to identify and diagnose defects and arrive at appropriate solutions as well as experience of undertaking stock condition surveys.
You must also be able to work with stock data and systems, managing data and assisting in the creation of programmes for future capital works programmes to ensure continued compliance with DHS and other statutory requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the Asset Team which focuses in delivering panned works programmes ensuring an excellent service to our customers.
Key Tasks&nbsp;

<li>Collation analysis and effective use of stock condition information from a range of surveys on all property assets including occupied dwellings, void dwellings, commercial buildings, garages, communal areas and public spaces.</li>
<li>Carrying out stock condition and related surveys - including Housing Health &amp; Safety Rating System (HHSRS) surveys.</li>
<li>Contribution to the development of comprehensive and accurate stock condition information to support short, and long-term asset management planning.</li>
<li>Ensuring results of surveys are accurately recorded in the asset management system, in a timely manner, using hand-held data capture equipment.</li>
<li>Effective organisational, planning and report writing skills.</li>
<li>Full and clean driving licence with access to a vehicle to undertake site visits.</li>
<li>Delivery of an effective and appropriate service to all service users, fairly and without discrimination.</li>

This role provides an opportunity to make a significant and immediate contribution to this working with partners across the area to support the preparation of the Strategic Growth Plan and in leading the Council’s local plan and CIL to adoption. It will also involve leading the Council’s Biodiversity Strategy and Design Code.&nbsp; We will offer you plentiful and varied experience in a key management role within our Planning and Growth Service and an opportunity to develop your management skills in leading the Local Plan Team and our team of heritage, landscape, ecology and design specialists in the Natural and Built Environment Team.

You may already be leading a local plan team or be looking to make the next step in your career towards management. The Role
The Repairs Business Support Manager will manage the Business Support and Resident Liaison Teams to support delivery of a high-quality, customer focussed, repairs and investment service.
The role requires the candidate to &nbsp;track, and monitor all repairs, from identification to completion, working with colleagues to optimise service efficiency, productivity, and quality. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, tailored systems and procedures to support the efficient delivery of repairs in a way which meets the needs of customers, regulatory standards, and legislation. Produce and develop performance management frameworks, analyse data and performance, provide insight, and identify service improvements.
You will preferably hold a degree level education or the ability to demonstrate equivalent experience as set out in the person specification.
