<h2>About the role</h2>As Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse portfolio of projects including service improvement initiatives, procurement activities, and service reviews within the Housing Repairs and Maintenance service. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.&nbsp;You will be supporting the programme manager with a range of tasks, including:<ul>
<li>analysing business processes and producing step by step guides capturing current and future ways of working.</li>
<li>leading on a range of procurement projects that vary in value and complexity, producing contract waivers, service specifications, procurement contracts and mobilisation plans.&nbsp;</li>
<li>managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from initiation to post-project evaluation and be responsible.</li>
<li>driving change management and support the implementation of new systems and processes.</li>
<li>gathering and analysing a range of data to help inform business decisions&nbsp;</li>
<li>articulating problems and solutions in ways understood by all stakeholders.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone with:<ul>
<li>Project management practitioner certification e.g. PRINCE2 or&nbsp;equivalent project management experience.</li>
<li>An understanding of social housing repairs and maintenance service.</li>
<li>Experience in public sector procurement and change management.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.</li>

<h2>About the role</h2>Brighton and Hove is a vibrant and exciting place to live and work and an opportunity has arisen to join the Hospital Discharge and Response Team (DART) within the post hospital pathways and also supporting across the team when required.Both the acute hospitals and post hospital pathway arms of our wider team have seen their roles significantly evolve in recent years as we have been at the forefront of changes with the hospital’s Discharge to Assess model. This has meant our team work with people in the acute setting as well as those in community settings after a period of time in hospital. This can be either in step down beds whilst the person is benefiting from rehab or in the person’s home. We also work with those who need support to prevent a hospital admission including playing a role at the front door of the hospital by working with our health colleagues in the Emergency Department.We are a friendly and supportive team working in a busy environment; although working under pressure we maintain high professional standards of practice and are committed to ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will be expected to work across all settings and develop and maintain good relationships with key partners.&nbsp;This is an exciting opportunity to join the team which is made up of Operations Managers, Senior Social Workers, Social Workers, and Social Care Workers. The team works closely with system partners including University Hospitals Sussex, Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust and Sussex Community Foundation Trust, so effective multi-disciplinary working is essential. &nbsp;The candidate would need to have a strong leadership style in the social work field, have excellent communication skills and be solution focused under pressure and time constraints.
