Community Safety Officer

About the roleTo manage and lead the continued development of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) for North Northamptonshire, and co-ordinate the development of processes to deliver the Council’s responsibilities to ensure a 10% net gain in biodiversity from new developments. Care and Support Assistant 

About the roleKettering Adult Social Care Team is the front door for all ASC activity in the Kettering area. We experience high levels of demand and have a very busy duty function. The team is staffed by a mix of social workers, senior assessment and enablement workers, assessment and enablement workers, community support workers and business support officers. We operate strengths based practice, using the 3 conversations model. The principals in the team are responsible for managing the duty function on a rota basis, screening all safeguarding referrals and proactively supporting the duty workers. They also manage the referrals waiting for allocation, prioritising and managing risk and allocate to staff. They offer front line supervision to the assessment staff including induction, Me Time, performance management, absence management and case monitoring and discussion. All decisions about care act eligibility, need for formal support, increases or decreases in care are ratified and discussed with a principal before relevant escalation.The principals are also responsible for the auditing of staff’s work on a person-by-person basis but also more formal caseload audits. They are an essential part of the overall performance of the team and the wellbeing of its staff and are themselves line managed by the team manager. The current management group is well established and we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic qualified social worker who is ready to become a manager. We are a welcoming and supportive team and progression and training is actively encouraged.This is a part time position and hours of work can be negotiated, although preferably able to work on a Wednesday. About the role…
As a Transport Officer, you will support the planning, commissioning, and monitoring of local bus services, home-to-school transport, and social care transport for both adults and children. About the roleNorth Northamptonshire Council have an exciting opportunity for a Needs Assessment Officer to join our Specialist Support for Younger Adults with Disabilities team.This post will consist of working out of our Wellingborough or Corby office. You will work alongside Managers, who are supporting the daily needs of customers within their own homes in the community as well as the CEW's who are out in the field.. The need to be flexible, understanding and compassionate is essential and to have an understanding of adults with a various range of disabilities.Shift Pattern: Relief vacancies available, which could include early and late shifts, along with every other weekend working. Assessments need to be proactive, preventative, and personal and include support from other professional services where required, to ensure people receive the information and the level of support required for them to regain or maintain their level of independence and to be safe within the community.Provide goal setting / support plans for individual people as appropriate. About the role…

<li>Coordinate support for adults living in a supported living cottage, ensuring the staff rota is in line with their needs.</li>
<li>Keep up to date and review relevant support plans, risk assessments and tools to support the staff team to deliver high quality support.</li>
<li>Liaise with families, professionals and key people with regards to day-to-day queries and updates.</li>
<li>Undertake regular quality assurance and gain feedback from staff, families and people we support.</li>
<li>To be a hands on leader, supporting the team to deliver a high standard of care and support, to include elements of personal care.</li>
</ul>
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.
