This team is made up of talented, passionate people, determined to do their best work for Elmbridge. The team cover a varied workload including Land Charges.</p>\n<p>We are looking to recruit a Land Charges technical officer who can support the current Senior Land Charges officer in the day-to-day processing of applications coming into the Council. Experience in this work would be desirable, however, not essential as we provide a full training programme.</p>\n<p>You will need to be enthusiastic, proactive and have good attention to detail. Development Viability plays an integral part within the planning process and the delivery of affordable housing and developer contributions.</p><p class=\"ql-align-justify\"><br></p><p class=\"ql-align-justify\"><strong>The Team - Tower Hamlets Viability (THV)</strong></p><p class=\"ql-align-justify\">To ensure Tower Hamlets is best placed to address the challenges, Tower Hamlets Council has a dedicated team to assess development appraisals and provide advice to planning officers and politicians.</p><p class=\"ql-align-justify\">THV is an internal council service & a fee earning commercial service providing specialist development viability advice to both the planning department at LBTH as well as other planning authorities. The team is well established and fantastically staffed, holding professional expertise in development viability/valuation and relevant RICS accreditation (qualified chartered status).
