<h4>Job summary</h4><p>The postholder will have responsibility for setting and delivering our vision for the policy, system and retail market changes needed to drive a significant increase in consumer-led flex and defining Ofgem’s role within that. They will oversee a programme of work to facilitate the significant growth needed in consumer-led flex, and deepen our understanding of the implications of this growth for the retail market and all consumers, surfacing key strategic questions and policy trade-offs that can be difficult to identify at the individual workstream level.</p><p>In line with Ofgem’s vision for the retail market, the postholder will need to ensure that policy environment enables and facilitates the innovation and investment we need in the market such that it is attracting new entrants and new products and services, whilst at the same time ensuring that consumers are able to participate and benefit.</p><p>This will involve cross-team and multi-disciplinary working to oversee and deliver a number of significant programmes of work on time, on budget and to a high standard through effective management and support of multiple teams.
