About the role…
As a MiCare Support Worker you:
<ul>
<li>Provide support to adults to develop and maintain activities of daily living, including personal care.</li>
<li>Support people to undertake a range of social care tasks such as washing, dressing/undressing, showering, and bathing, meal preparation, domestic activities and engaging in community activities.</li>
<li>Undertake a range of delegated health care tasks as required such as prompt prescribed medication, supporting the application of prescribed creams, eye and ear drops, catheter care and prompting exercise as prescribed by the physiotherapist.</li>
</ul>
It is essential that you have a full UK driving license and access to a car to enable you to work in this role.
Basic pay of £12.85 - £13.05 per hour, Saturdays at £19.28 - £19.59 per hour, Sundays and bank holidays at £25.70 - £26.11 per hour.&nbsp; 
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, however, if you have the passion and commitment to help and support others then we can offer you a comprehensive induction and a tailored training plan, with support to undertake the QCF Diploma and Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications fully funded by us!

<li>To provide information, advice and guidance for referrals that need signposting to other partners and universal services</li>
<li>Undertaking strengths-based outcome focused assessments of need including monitoring, coordination, and review of care plans, risk assessments and protection plans</li>
<li>Updating and maintaining electronic social care records</li>
<li>To work in an integrated way with colleagues and other agencies, including but not limited to Police, Health services, providers and voluntary partners.</li>
</ul>

With your previous experience in care leadership, and NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health &amp; Social Care (ideal), you'll join our team in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.&nbsp;
You will contribute, as a senior member of staff, to the overall management and development of service provision, planning for the future development of services to meet the needs of customers from diverse cultural communities.
You will understand the Quality Commission (CQC) and to have good knowledge in all relevant legislation and regulations. Your role will involve ensuring that the home provides high-quality care and support to residents.
You may be a Senior Carer who has stepped in to support your manager and is now looking for your next permanent move, or a current Shift Lead seeking to gain more experience and develop yourself for the future.&nbsp;&nbsp;

With your previous experience in care leadership, and NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health &amp; Social Care (ideal), you'll join our team in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.&nbsp;
You will contribute, as a senior member of staff, to the overall management and development of service provision, planning for the future development of services to meet the needs of customers from diverse cultural communities.
You will understand the Quality Commission (CQC) and to have good knowledge in all relevant legislation and regulations. Your role will involve ensuring that the home provides high-quality care and support to residents.
You may be a Senior Carer who has stepped in to support your manager and is now looking for your next permanent move, or a current Shift Lead seeking to gain more experience and develop yourself for the future.&nbsp;&nbsp;
We will offer 2.5 weeks induction training and a further 2-4 weeks "Buddy scheme" too. We will settle you in, there's no pressure to "hit the ground running"!

About the job…….
Working within the Community Support Services you will also have the opportunity to work in our supported living, day opportunities and MiCare services.
Some evening/weekend and bank holiday work is required to meet the needs of the Community Support Service and its service users, however we are open to negotiation and will consider flexible working patterns to suit your life style.&nbsp;
Due to the nature of the role, some elements of physical work such as moving and handling and delivering personal care will be required.
Basic pay of £12.85 - £13.05 per hour, Saturdays at £19.28 - £19.57 per hour, Sundays and bank holidays at £25.70 - £26.10 per hour.&nbsp;
Please note we have full time and part time hours available, including permanent and fixed terms contracts.
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, however, we can offer you a comprehensive induction and a tailored training plan, with support to undertake the QCF Diploma and Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications fully funded by us!

About the roleWe’re seeking to recruit some great new Community Enablement Workers; people with the right values and positive attitude to work within the Specialist Support for Younger Adults team – could this be you?<ul><li>Our customers are aged between 18-65 and have a range of physical and learning needs.</li><li>We support them with personal care, manual handling, medication, food and drink, finances and shopping.</li></ul>We are looking for staff to work the following:<ul><li>Weekends only (Saturdays and Sundays every week between the hours of 7am and 11pm)</li><li>Day and Evening Shifts throughout the week between the hours of 7am and 11pm.</li></ul>We also have the below incentives:<ul><li>Enhanced rates of working from 8pm until 8pm including Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays </li><li>Enhanced overtime pay </li><li>Business mileage paid at 45p an hour</li><li>28 days holiday, rising to 33 after 5 years of service.</li></ul>What will you be doing?<h4>Purpose of the job</h4>The purpose of this job is to provide high quality support and care to customers in their own homes within a wider community. To enable them to remain independent whilst supporting their wellbeing, rights and choices. To also support with any reablement needs and providing personal support where required.<h4>Principal responsibilities</h4><ol><li> To support people within their own home to live an independent life.</li><li>With reference to the individual’s care plan provide practical and emotional support to customers to help them maintain independent living. In appropriate cases:</li></ol><ul><li>Assist customers with physical disabilities to carry out activities, hygiene routines and manage medication as directed within their care plans to help maintain health and wellbeing;</li><li>Assist customers to undertake practical tasks to help maintain their physical wellbeing and/or improve their living conditions.</li></ul><ol><li>With reference to the individual’s care plan promote independence through the provision of information to customers and through liaison with carers, internal and external agencies.
