About the role
We are seeking a Dual Diagnosis Worker who has a specialism in complex mental health and substance misuse to join our team in Croydon. This is a residential service which provides specialist mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis support to our residents. You will utilise your previous experience and knowledge, and provide specialist support to those who have been diagnosed with mental ill health and have challenges with substance use. You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills.
Within this role, you will act as a specialist for comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of the duties may include:
<ul>
<li>Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.</li>
<li>Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.</li>
<li>Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.</li>
<li>Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.</li>
<li>Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
About you
We’re looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with previous experience in a similar role. We look at individual characteristics to be able to show resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive in your approach. You will have a passion for supporting people to achieve their personal goals, and achieve positive outcomes, this includes having the ability to engage with people who may be hard to reach and engage with. We further are looking for someone who has:

<li>An appropriate qualification which is relevant to the role which could include: National Diploma, Bachelors, or master’s in psychology, Dual Diagnosis, Substance Misuse or any relevant</li>
<li>Previous experience in a similar role, providing holistic assessments and support for people experiencing mental health challenges</li>
<li>Applied knowledge of the principles of risk assessment and risk management, particularly in relation to harm minimisation.</li>
<li>A commitment to promoting recovery, harm reduction, and active involvement in care planning.</li>
<li>Ability to apply relapse prevention models to promote sustained recovery and harm reduction.</li>

About the role
We’re looking for a Night Support Worker to support within the Offender Personality Disorder Housing Accommodation to provide support in successfully rehabilitating and reintegrating our residents and participants back into the community. Our residents are referred to us by the criminal justice system, and they are deemed as high risk, and likely to meet the criteria for a personality disorder. You will be part of the team to provide intensive support to overcome their barriers to resettlement and progress towards independent living.&nbsp;
You will:
<ul>
<li>Work to ensure safety and wellbeing of our residents.</li>
<li>Support mainly the night shifts to ensure the service runs smoothly at night, being a point of contact for residents, engaging with them to ensure their safety comes first, and running various evening activities for engagement.</li>
<li>Build trusting and professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through one to one sessions, group sessions, and general wellbeing check ins.</li>
<li>During quieter hours, you will be responsible for ensuring administration is up to date, the service is kept clean and tidy, and will support with additional ad hoc tasks.</li>
</ul>
About you
We're looking for someone who has a true passion for what we do as an organisation, particularly in supporting those who have personality disorder and have been within the criminal justice service.&nbsp;
Our residents needs are at the forefront of service delivery, so someone who can build trusting professional relationships is key. You will be adaptable, proactive, and able to use your initiative to resolve challenges, and keep the night service running smoothly. You will be able to work within a team, and have previous knowledge of the needs our residents may have. About the role
Our service provides supported accommodation units for adults with multiple, complex mental health needs. Our residents may be transitioning from inpatient rehabilitation, acute mental health wards, or other residential settings into a structured rehabilitation environment. Our team are here to support our residents with care and rehabilitation to help them to achieve their personal needs and goals.
As an Outreach Activities Coordinator, you will manage the running and coordination of regular activities, events, and trips for our residents which work in support to individual support places and goals, by creating a calendar of activities, celebrations, awareness months/days/weeks and events to encourage social skills and community engagement. You may also support with other external activities such as supporting with attendance to appointments and treatments, whilst using your own knowledge to support and inspire them in being motivated to engage more with various services.&nbsp;
