About the role
We are seeking a Substance Misuse Worker who has a specialism in mental health and substance use to join our team in Catford. You will be based within a 24 hour service which provides enhanced rehabilitation support to adults who have been diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health, who would benefit from an intensive rehabilitation and recovery-focused approach. Within this role, you will provide specialist knowledge and experience to support the wider team and residents to help them to overcome their personal barriers.
You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will be a specialist in comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of your duties will include:
<ul>
<li>Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.</li>
<li>Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.</li>
<li>Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.</li>
<li>Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.</li>
<li>Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning.&nbsp;</li>

We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. Qualifications are desirable if paired with practical experience which is relevant to this role. We look at individual characteristics with the ability to engage with various people who may not want to receive the support, able to build trusting professional relationships, and able to demonstrate resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive. Assistant Support Worker - £24,570 pa (37.5 hours per week)About the RoleWe currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Support Worker at our supported living service, Oxleys Road. The role is full time (37.5 hours per week).At Oxleys Road, we are dedicated to supporting adults with mental health concerns, helping them develop the skills needed to live independently and safely within the wider community. About the role
This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Ealing. You will support the Service Manager in leading a service which provides a recovery focused service to adults with long term mental health challenges. You will support the team to deliver person centred support to improve the lives of our residents, for them to gain greater independence to move onto lower support accommodation. You will do this through providing direct leadership and line management to the team so they feel empowered to perform within their roles.&nbsp;
You will ensure a quality service is delivered in line with our contractual requirements, and will encourage the creation of a psychologically informed environment, which provides person centred support. Some of what the role includes:

About the role
We're looking for a Mental Health Floating Support Coordinator to join our team which delivers support to individuals living within the community who have support needs pertaining to their mental health and wellbeing.&nbsp;
In this role you will support adults aged 18+ who have a primary mental health need, including complex needs and dual diagnosis to create personalised support plans and proactive support work to engage them with the opportunities available for them to live independently within the community.&nbsp;
You will support with all aspects of supporting our participants to develop their social skills and independent living skills to help them manage their mental health, delivering crisis prevention.
About you
We're looking for someone who has a true passion for what we do as an organisation, and particularly in supporting those who have suffered from mental health and may have other complex needs. About the role
We are seeking a Dual Diagnosis Worker who has a specialism in complex mental health and substance misuse to join our team in Croydon. This is a residential service which provides specialist mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis support to our residents. You will utilise your previous experience and knowledge, and provide specialist support to those who have been diagnosed with mental ill health and have challenges with substance use. You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills.
Within this role, you will act as a specialist for comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of the duties may include:

<li>Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.</li>
<li>Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.</li>
<li>Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.</li>
<li>Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.</li>
<li>Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning.&nbsp;</li>

About you
We’re looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with previous experience in a similar role. We look at individual characteristics to be able to show resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive in your approach. You will have a passion for supporting people to achieve their personal goals, and achieve positive outcomes, this includes having the ability to engage with people who may be hard to reach and engage with. We further are looking for someone who has:

<li>An appropriate qualification which is relevant to the role which could include: National Diploma, Bachelors, or master’s in psychology, Dual Diagnosis, Substance Misuse or any relevant</li>

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our team and oversee the delivery of high-quality Supported Living services in Rutland.
The role is responsible for managing all aspects of the services day to day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations set out by The Care Quality Commission, and will be responsible for driving a positive and person-centered environment that respects the dignity and choices of the people we support.
About you…
Significant experience in a management position or have previously been a Registered Manager, ideally with experience in supporting adults with a learning disability and/or autism.
Have a thorough understanding of regulations set out by The Care Quality Commission and proven experience of ensuring regulations are applied, understood by the team and embodied within the service.
You need to have an understanding and be passionate about The Transforming Care Agenda (Homes not hospitals) and be able to think outside of the box in order to ensure service are accessible to everyone we support.

This role manages the in house supported living service for adults with a learning disability an/or Autism some with complex care needs. Duties include:

About us Independence at Home provides a personal approach to helping individuals who find themselves unable to manage day-to-day tasks at home. We support people for up to six weeks to learn to do things in a different way to increase independence and confidence. This includes support with daily living tasks including manual handling. Our service is integrated with Health, so we work closely with Nurses, OT and Physio-therapists. The service is part of the hospital discharge pathway, so we are very busy and we have high turn-over of service users. Our last CQC inspection rated the service as “good” in all aspects of the care and support provided, as well as for leadership.

<li>Leading and managing a team of Home Care Support Workers working in the community providing care;</li>

<h2>Job introduction</h2>Shared Lives Carers are self-employed and are responsible for their own Tax &amp; National Insurance, although they can access the Shared Lives Tax relief when they are registered with a Shared Lives Scheme.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Payment ranges for the different types of care are as follows:

<ul>
	<li><a>Long-term range from £254.59-£479.07 per week (paid every 28 days)</a></li>
	<li>Respite range from £60.62-£72.74 per day (paid weekly)</li>
	<li>Day support&nbsp; £51.75 per day.</li>
</ul>

<h2>About the role</h2>The Shared Lives Scheme involves a Shared Lives Carer sharing their home and their family (and community) life with an adult who has care &amp; support needs. These needs may include adults with Learning Disability; adults with Dementia; younger adults with complex and or behavioural needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;

For Carers it provides a flexible, interesting role with a fantastic work life balance, free training, working as a self-employed professional with support from the West Northants Shared Lives scheme.

<h2>Additional information</h2>All kinds of people can become Shared Lives carers- you don’t need to have any specific experience or training in care already, you will just have a genuine passion for caring for and supporting people. Knowsley Shared Lives Scheme, which is part of Knowsley Council, is currently recruiting Shared Lives Carers.&nbsp; Could you welcome a person with a care or support need in to your own home?&nbsp;
This may suit you if you are looking for a rewarding challenge with a payment of between £500 - £600 per week and you wish to work from home.&nbsp;
One of the services the scheme provides is long term support where someone would live with you as part of your family - you would need to live within the Knowsley Boundary to provide this type of support.&nbsp;
The scheme also provides respite, where someone would stay with you from one night up to 3 months and there is no requirement to live in Knowsley to provide this service.&nbsp; You will receive full training for your role and support from a team of Shared Lives Workers. The scheme will match you with someone who they feel you could support, who may have similar interest’s likes and preferences to yourself.&nbsp; Experience of providing care would be desired but it is not essential.&nbsp;&nbsp;
All applicants will undertake an assessment which will include character employer and GP references, a Disclosure and Barring Service Check and a health and safety check on your property. Your assessment will be approved by an independent panel.&nbsp;
