We offer a range of interventions, including medication management and psychological therapies, all while coordinating comprehensive, person-centred care within the community. The team also fulfils statutory responsibilities under the Mental Health Act 1983, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and the Care Act 2014. <h3>Key responsibilities…</h3>

<li>To collaborate with the CMHT Senior Management team and Clinical Leadership to provide guidance on the integration of social work and social care values, practices and statutory responsibilities in the delivery of integrated health and social care services for adults with mental health needs.</li>
<li>To supervise the Social Work Lead, AMHP Lead and social care staff, whilst establishing a workload management system to ensure caseloads and workloads align with seniority, experience and are regularly monitored based on local needs analysis.</li>

About the role
We are seeking a Dual Diagnosis Worker who has a specialism in complex mental health and substance misuse to join our team in Croydon. This is a residential service which provides specialist mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis support to our residents. You will utilise your previous experience and knowledge, and provide specialist support to those who have been diagnosed with mental ill health and have challenges with substance use. You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills.
Within this role, you will act as a specialist for comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of the duties may include:

<li>Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.</li>
<li>Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.</li>
<li>Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.</li>
<li>Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.</li>

About you
We’re looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with previous experience in a similar role. We look at individual characteristics to be able to show resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive in your approach. You will have a passion for supporting people to achieve their personal goals, and achieve positive outcomes, this includes having the ability to engage with people who may be hard to reach and engage with. We further are looking for someone who has:

<li>An appropriate qualification which is relevant to the role which could include: National Diploma, Bachelors, or master’s in psychology, Dual Diagnosis, Substance Misuse or any relevant</li>
<li>Previous experience in a similar role, providing holistic assessments and support for people experiencing mental health challenges</li>
<li>Applied knowledge of the principles of risk assessment and risk management, particularly in relation to harm minimisation.</li>
<li>A commitment to promoting recovery, harm reduction, and active involvement in care planning.</li>

About the role
We are looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Croydon, providing leadership and line management to a team of night staff which is around 10 people in total. You will provide support and supervision sessions at night, and general leadership to the team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles. You will further ensure a quality service is delivered in line with our contractual requirements to the residents. You will be responsible for creating a psychologically informed environment (PIE) with person centred support during all hours. You will work closely with the day teams to ensure a smooth handover from the day to night.&nbsp;
This service is a Forensic Mental Health provision for 27 people across 4 sites in Croydon. For your own personal safety, you will require to have access to your own transport as you will need to travel between our 4 sites during the night shift to provide managerial support to the teams. The teams support our residents with person centred support, to empower them to overcome their personal barriers with their mental health, to have greater independence and fulfilled living. The service is responsible for holding various activities, group sessions, and one to one support to enable residents to build their personal skills and experiences to achieve their goals.&nbsp;

The post holder will be working on behalf of the LA to ensure that all legal obligations are met in the resolution of SEND cases, you will prepare and submit evidence for the tribunal process and play a vital role in representing the local authority in legal settings and ensuring that outcomes are legally compliant and in the best interest of the child or young person. SEND Tribunal Officers work to resolve disputes amicably where possible but preparing for formal hearings when necessary. Their goal is to ensure that all parties involved are heard and that legal requirements are met throughout the tribunal process.
