Community Meals drivers are more than a delivery person, they are in some instances the only contact our clients have with another person during their day. As part of the delivery service you will complete a welfare check, for example ensuring that the person is warm during winter months, or has sufficient drinks in warmer weather, reporting any concerns to the Business Support Team. Domiciliary Care Worker

We are recruiting a Senior Practitioner at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 18.5 Hours Contract Type: Permanent/Part Time Location: Tredomen This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Children’s Services Team. We pay an attractive salary of £21,419 - £23,071 and offer access to training and development opportunities. The Successful applicant will assist and support the Team Manager in mentoring and providing formal supervision for team members. You will assist other staff in developing and facilitating group work sessions and will be required to contribute to service developments. You will need excellent assessment and analysis skills and the ability to engage and communicate effectively with Foster Carers their families and children who are looked after, with a focus on wellbeing, safety of children and be able to support and guide Foster Carers to build on their holistic skills as well as a commitment to improve outcomes for children and young people. The Team has responsibility for recruiting, assessing, supporting, supervising and reviewing general foster carers, alongside completing Connected Persons Assessments of family members/connected persons for a child who cannot, or may not be able to remain with their birth family.
