The role involves inspecting and assessing housing properties, advising on repairs and maintenance, issuing and managing works orders, and ensuring all projects comply with Council standards, procurement policies, and Health and Safety regulations. You’ll manage budgets, oversee contractors, and support disrepair investigations while ensuring value for money and maintaining property quality and compliance. Strong analytical, communication, and record-keeping skills are essential, along with the ability to conduct risk assessments, prepare technical reports, and handle complex stakeholder interactions.
