Job DescriptionSenior Debt Court OfficerGrade ESalary: £39,027 - £44,463 per annum12 Months Fixed Term Contract37 Hours per WeekSituated on the River Thames, Thurrock is an ambitious unitary with vision and opportunities for its residents and businesses.Thurrock’s Debt Management Team is a highly recognised services having been nominated twice for the IRRV (Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation) Most Improved Team of the Year Award and was in the finalists in 2012 and achieved a Bronze Award in 2013.The team are currently looking for an experienced Senior Debt Court Officer to join this dynamic team. Job Description Directorate: Adults &amp; Health&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Job Title: Casual Minibus Driver Attendant Location: Thurrock &nbsp; Band: B (£13.76 an hour) Hours: 0 hrs – shifts to cover existing Minibus Driver absences – full days or half days An exciting opportunity has arisen within Caring for Thurrock, Friendship Club. This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to assist with providing transport to vulnerable adults within Thurrock to and from the Day Centre in Grays.&nbsp; The candidate will use a council minibus to pick up and take service users to/from their own homes.&nbsp;We have several routes around Thurrock and this usually means delivering an average of 2 or 3 routes in the afternoon.&nbsp;You will need a full clean Driving Licence and this will need to have evidence that driving on D1 category vehicles is approved.&nbsp; Business insurance is provided when using council vehicles.&nbsp; A driving competence test is required for insurance purposes before starting the role.&nbsp; The successful candidate will be flexible and able to work as part of a team and also to be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision and use their own initiative within established procedures and processes to deliver a high quality service to our Clients with a person centred approach in line with the Care Act and Current Legislation within Adult Social Care.&nbsp; You will be required to attend mandatory training in areas that are relevant to the role.&nbsp; Shadowing will also be provided.
