As a Business Analyst at the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) you will join an established and supportive community of Business Analysts and work across all areas of projects and service lifecycle as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will work together with IPO colleagues, partner organisations and/or suppliers to ensure that approaches and outcomes are fit for purpose by meeting business needs, user needs and IPO standards. Working Style

Social Worker

We are recruiting a Senior Practitioner at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday) Contract Type: Full Time/Fixed Term until 31st March 2027 Location: Ty Pawb/Various locations across the Borough This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Childrens Services Team. We pay an attractive salary of £42,839 - £46,142 and offer access to training and development opportunities. Caerphilly Children’s Services have developed their Strategy aimed at reducing the numbers of Children Looked After.The main focus of the role will be to facilitate family meetings to empower families to develop a family plan to support children and young people to remain cared for within their family. You will need to be effective at building positive working relationships and committed to promoting a solution focused family approach to intervention, championing a strengths based approach with families.The successful candidate will need a proven ability to work collaboratively with families to promote "what matters" to them. You must have excellent communication and organisational skills in facilitating family meetings and safety planning. Training will be given but you will already have transferable skills from working with families at times of crisis.For the role, we ask that you have: <ul><li>A Diploma/Degree in Social Work or predecessor qualification.</li><li>Successfully completing of the Consolidation of Practice Programme within the first three years of practice (if qualified after 1 April 2016).</li><li>Up to date knowledge of current legislation and statutory regulations, research and practice in relation to the relevant service area.</li><li>Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings. </li></ul>We have excellent benefits including the Local Government Pension Scheme, agile working patterns and staff discount schemes. Failure to successfully complete this qualification will result in you being unable to renew your Social Work Registration or practice as a Social Worker.
