The post will involve a wide variety of duties including carrying out and contributing to the delivery of health and safety services, preparation and the development of school specific policies, procedures and guidance, carrying out risk assessments, health and safety inspections and the production of written reports.The role will be schools based with the Officer responsible for supporting a number of schools. Excellent communication skills are essential as the successful candidate will be required to build effective working relationships and provide school specific advice to Headteachers, Governors and other school based staff.Officers may also be required to meet with Parents, Health Professionals and individuals with medical concerns.
