<h4>Job summary</h4><p>Working as part of Homes England’s central Governance team, led by Peter Judge, our Company Secretary and Assistant Director - Governance, you as the Assistant Company Secretary - Cambridge will play a critical role in supporting the Cambridge Growth Company (CGC), a subsidiary of Homes England, during its formative stages and beyond. </p><p>You will be joining our small but highly skilled and experienced Governance team, who are committed to making positive contributions and continual improvements to how we manage our key decision-making. </p><p>We believe in delivering a first-class customer service, excellent delivery and taking an innovative and creative approach to delegation and governance issues. It will require regular office attendance in Cambridge as part of hybrid working arrangements. </p><h4>Job description</h4><p>You'll be comfortable supporting the Company Secretary, working as part of the wider governance team to facilitate timely and compliant decision making and recording those decisions. You will also be comfortable working on complex governance issues and ensuring statutory compliance and reporting. </p><p>You will be content working in a complex stakeholder environment and with senior stakeholders. You will be proficient in minute taking, Companies Act compliance, strategic forward planning Board and committee business, and undertaking meeting support administration. <p>An exciting and challenging opportunity has been created to join our Cemetery Grounds Maintenance team who maintain various Cemeteries within Wirral.</p>
<p>We are looking for 3 x Seasonal GMOs to help provide an excellent service for local people. The successful candidates will help implement the Wirral Parks Standard which will involve working with staff, Friends Groups, service users and external organisation.</p>
<p>The successful candidates will join one of three Cemetery teams based at Frankby, Flaybrick or Bebington cemeteries. The Grounds Maintenance team work to provide a comprehensive grounds maintenance service to these areas for Parks &amp; Countryside.</p>
<p><strong>About the Candidate:</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for someone who has worked within a Grounds Maintenance team and experience of mowing and vegetation control, maintenance, and management of shrub stock, and in addition undertake cleansing operations and all other duties which includes assisting at burials relevant to the grade.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will have the following essential Knowledge &amp; Skills:</p>
<p>Health &amp; Safety awareness.</p>
<p>Full/Provisional Driving Licence</p>
<p>As well as being able to carry out a full range of maintenance duties it will be desirable if you were skilled in at least one of the following:</p>
<p>Compact Ride-On Mowing Machines</p>
<p>Experience in use of industrial horticultural machinery, strimmer, backpack blower and hedge cutter.</p>
<p>The postholders Key Tasks will include:</p>

<p>The Team implements the Wirral Parks Standard which will involve working with staff, Friends Groups, service users and external organisations and will join the Grounds Maintenance team, based at Cleveland Street Depot, which is responsible for the maintenance of all Highway verges &amp; some open spaces within Parks &amp; Countryside.</p>
<p>The Grounds Maintenance team work to provide a comprehensive grounds maintenance service to these areas. Maintenance operations include mowing and vegetation control, maintenance, and management of shrub stock, and in addition undertake cleansing operations.</p>
<p><strong>About the Candidate:</strong></p>

<p>An exciting and challenging opportunity has been created to join a Grounds Maintenance team who maintain Rights of Way within Wirral. We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to help provide an excellent service for local people.</p>
<p>The Team implements the Wirral Parks Standard which will involve working with staff, Friends Groups, service users and external organisations and will join the Grounds Maintenance team, based at Cleveland Street Depot, which is responsible for the maintenance of all Highway verges &amp; some open spaces within Parks &amp; Countryside.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will help implement the Wirral Parks Standard which will involve working with Rights of Way officer, staff, Friends Groups, service users and external organisation.</p>
<p><strong>About the Candidate:</strong></p>
<p>The successful candidate will join the Grounds Maintenance team based at Cleveland Street Depot which is responsible for the maintenance of all Highway verges &amp; Rights of Way some open spaces within Parks &amp; Countryside. The Grounds Maintenance team work to provide a comprehensive grounds maintenance service to these areas.</p>
<p>You will have the following essential Knowledge &amp; Skills:</p>
<p>Health &amp; Safety awareness.</p>
<p>Full/Provisional Driving Licence.</p>
<p>As well as being able to carry out a full range of maintenance duties it will be desirable if you were skilled in at least one of the following:</p>
<p>Compact Ride-On Mowing Machines.</p>
<p>Experience in use of industrial horticultural machinery, strimmer, backpack blower, and hedge cutter.</p>
<p>Possession of the following Desirable Criteria will be advantageous. Towing of trailers and NVQ 2 in Amenity Horticulture</p>
<p>Temporary Contract and hours are as follows:</p>
<p>31 weeks @ 36 hrs to commence on 30th March 2026 to 30th October 2026.</p>
