Job Introduction

Would you like to play an active role in delivering a service that supports residents, businesses and the local property market across Greenwich? Are you looking for a role where you can develop new skills, broaden your experience and make a genuine difference?

We are looking for a part-time Planning Support Officer to join our Systems Team and help deliver the Council's Local Land Charges service. The information we provide plays an important role in the home-buying process and supports thousands of property transactions every year.

Experience of Local Land Charges work would be welcomed, but more importantly we are looking for someone who:

  • is a motivated self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of their work
  • can manage a varied and deadline-driven workload
  • is keen to learn new skills and technologies
  • enjoys identifying opportunities to improve and develop services
  • is committed to delivering excellent customer service
  • works well both independently and as part of a supportive team

This role is ideal for someone seeking a meaningful and rewarding part-time position with flexibility around working patterns and days. We recognise that many talented people are looking for roles that fit around other commitments, and we are happy to agree working arrangements with the successful candidate.

The post is 18 hours per week and offers the opportunity to develop your professional profile while working within a friendly, supportive and flexible team environment.
