Job Introduction

Lecturer in Carpentry, Joinery & Multi-Skills

Northumberland Skills, part of Northumberland County Council, is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Carpentry, Joinery & Multi-Skills to join our expanding Construction team at our industry-focused training facilities in Northumberland.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a high-performing and supportive team that is passionate about learner success, employer engagement, and developing the skilled workforce needed for the future. You will contribute to an innovative curriculum that reflects industry needs, inspire learners to achieve their full potential, and work closely with employers to ensure our programmes remain relevant, engaging, and responsive to local and regional skills priorities.

The successful candidate will join a forward-thinking organisation that is investing in modern facilities, expanding provision, and building strong partnerships with industry to create outstanding opportunities for learners and apprentices across Northumberland.
