We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Drum Teacher to join Leicestershire Music. You'll deliver drum kit lessons in schools across the county, helping children and young people build skills, confidence and a lifelong enjoyment of music. You'll also support bands, ensembles and performances, helping us meet growing demand for drum tuition across Leicestershire.

This role is currently 5 hours per week, with the potential to grow as demand for lessons increases, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build and develop their teaching career within a supportive music service.

An enhanced with barred list DBS check is required for this post.

About You

Qualification or experience demonstrating a high level of musical understanding, awareness and proficiency in your area of specialism
Strong drum kit performance skills.
Experience of teaching, coaching or working with children and young people.
Ability to deliver engaging lessons for learners of different ages and abilities.
Knowledge of instrumental teaching and musical progression.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of how to differentiate teaching to meet the interests, needs, and learning styles of a wide range of children and young people.

Salary range

£32,070 - £34,359 per year
