About You

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable professional who is passionate about embedding innovative approaches to SEND support across our local area.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A proven track record of managing a busy team and leadership qualities, with the ability to think outside of the box and be solution focused.
  • A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) legislation, including the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Experience handling SEND Appeals, Tribunals, and formal Mediations.
  • Knowledge of recent developments in SEND case law and best practices.
  • A high standard of communication both orally and written.

Salary range
