As a Centre Support Advisor, you will be at the heart of the learner journey, providing information, guidance and administrative support while helping create a welcoming and professional environment for everyone who visits our centres. You will collaborate closely with learners, teachers and managers, ensuring excellent customer service and supporting the delivery of high-quality adult education provision.

We have a strong commitment to Equality and Diversity, welcoming learners of all abilities and backgrounds. Our excellent commitment to safeguarding has been recognised by Ofsted at our last two inspections.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing a friendly and professional front-line service to learners, visitors, and members of the public
  • Responding to enquiries face-to-face, by telephone and email, providing accurate information and guidance
  • Promoting and marketing the College’s courses and learning opportunities through events and learner engagement activities
  • Supporting enrolment processes, fee assessments, discounts, and learner documentation
  • Processing payments, refunds, invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Providing administrative support to managers and teaching staff
  • Opening and closing centres, including operating security and alarm systems
  • Assisting with room preparation and ensuring teaching spaces are ready for learning
  • Supporting quality assurance, safeguarding and health and safety processes
  • Maintaining accurate learner records and inputting data onto college systems
  • Supporting marketing activities, learner surveys, and social media engagement as required

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and have a clear appreciation of safeguarding responsibilities when working with adults, young people, and vulnerable learners.

About You

The successful candidate should meet the following essential criteria:

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work flexibly
  • Commitment to delivering a high-quality service to learners and stakeholders
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Ability to travel between College sites where necessary

Experience within an education or training environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

Why Join Us?

  • Help learners access opportunities that can change their lives
