HMP The Verne is a Category C Prison holding People Convicted of Sexual Offences (PCOSOs).

The Business Hub plays an important role in supporting the safe, decent and secure operation of the establishment. Working at the centre of key functions including performance, finance and assurance, it provides the information, processes and controls that underpin effective decision making and help ensure the prison operates in line with policy and legal requirements.

As Hub Manager, you will lead a team of around 10 dedicated administrative professionals, creating a supportive environment where individuals are encouraged to develop and reach their full potential. You and the team will oversee a wide range of business activities, including performance monitoring, financial processes and compliance activity, ensuring that work is delivered accurately, consistently and on time.

Working closely with teams across the establishment, you will play a key part in maintaining prison standards and supporting operational delivery. The quality and reliability of your work, and that of your team, will directly contribute to keeping the prison operating effectively, while supporting strong performance and effective oversight across prison activity.
