About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and committed Care Support Worker to provide dedicated and person‑centred support.

The role focuses on building a positive, trusting relationship and offering consistent support across all areas of daily life - from personal care and routines to activities, appointments, and time out in the community. Support is tailored to the individual, with an emphasis on understanding behaviour as communication and responding in a calm, respectful, and supportive way.

This is a rewarding role for someone who values consistency, empathy, and making a genuine difference through meaningful day‑to‑day support.

We have both a Full Time (37.5 hours per week) and a Part Time (30 hours per week) Care Support Worker vacancy available.

Please tell us in your application whether you would like to be considered for:

  • Support emotional wellbeing and promote positive routines
  • Drive and support access to the community using a mobility vehicle
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment
  • Complete accurate daily records and contribute to care reviews
  • Work in line with health, safety, and quality standards

What You’ll Need

  • A full, clean manual UK driving licence (essential)
  • Confidence driving a mobility vehicle
  • A calm, patient, and compassionate approach
  • Emotional resilience and the ability to remain positive during challenging moments
  • Good communication skills and a consistent, reliable working style
  • Respect for individuality, dignity, and personal choice
  • Ability to maintain accurate records

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities or supporting behaviours desirable but not essential
