Job Title: Apprentice Finance Assistant

Grade: Aquinas Level 3

Hours: Full Time - 36 hours per week – 52.14 weeks per year

Salary:Full time range: £26,273 - £27,649 p.a.

Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service

Start Date: 1st September 2026

Closing Date: 17th July 2026 – 9am

We are seeking to appoint an Apprentice Finance Assistant to assist the Trust Financial Controller in all aspects of the Trust’s financial procedures and particularly as part of the Trust’s central purchase ledger team. This is an entry level role and we welcome applications from anyone who can demonstrate the right personal qualities and commitment to the role.

On successful completion of probation, the Trust will support the Apprentice Finance Assistant in studying for financial qualifications, subject to a separate agreement.

The successful candidate will have:

· A proven interest in business/finance and a desire to learn;

· a flexible attitude;

· effective communication skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people;

· good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks;

· good attention to detail; and

· a good sense of humour.
